PASADENA DA
As you may be aware a new Development Application for the Pasadena has
been lodged. While no one is happy with the current state of the
building, we believe that the proposal for a 138 seat restaurant with
will have serious negative impact on the parking.
The SIRA Committee will this week send out suggested points for
residents to use for their letters of objections,

Church Point Car Park Works
Stage 1 of the Church Point upgrade will commence on
Monday 22 August
From 7am Monday 22 August
No parking in the
three car spaces required for access into the Contractors
compound in front of Rostrevor Reserve for the duration of the
works - (orange
area on plan).
No parking on the
eastern side of Cargo Wharf. This area will become part of the works
zone and will be part of the new road alignment and open green space.
There will be no change to Cargo Wharf and the temporary wharf in
Rostrevor Reserve will be available for use by commuter permit holders.
Public set down spaces will be provided to service the Commuter Wharf
drop off requirements during construction - (blue area
on plan).
There will be pedestrian paths through Rostrevor Reserve and around the
work zones to ensure pedestrian safety.
From 7am Thursday 25 August
No mooring of boats on the internal side of
the existing commuter wharf (pink zone on plan).
Mid September
Construction of alternate access ramp to
existing commuter wharf (purple area on plan).

At Council on Tuesday evening the Administrator endorsed the creation
of 11 Strategic Reference Groups.
The Expression of Interest
process is open from 13 August 2016 until 4 September.

Island Kindy Father's Day Cafe
Bush Regeneration at
Morning Bay
on Sunday 28th August 2016
An
invitation is extended to all to join our Bush Regeneration event at
Morning Bay on Sunday 28th August 2016.
Pittwater YHA is again
running a Bush Regeneration Event.
The work will start around 8.30 am and go till lunchtime. Come even if
you can offer an hour or two to help. Instruction given to those new to
bush regeneration and equipment provided.
The weekend is supported by the Greater Sydney Local Land Service with
funding from the Australian Government and the NSW Government
programmes.
Help us to wage war on the Asparagus Fern, Mother of Millions,
Lantana and Bidens of Morning Bay.
Morning tea and a lunch is provided. Take time in the afternoon
to go for a kayak ride on one of the YHA kayaks.
