TSE All-Share Index
Tehran stocks continued their
post-election bounce today but on lower volumes, with the All-Share Index
adding 0.14% to close at 81,194. Paper Products (+4.48%) led risers
among sectors, while Machinery & Equipment and Non-Metallic Ores recorded
the weakest performance, both losing 0.88%. Automotive (+0.58%) posted the
highest daily trade volume, with IRR 222 billion (approx. USD 6 million)
worth of trades. Today the companies making the largest impact on the
All-Share Index were Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (KSHJ +2.57%),
Esfahan Oil Refining Co. (PNES -1.61%) and Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD
+0.96%). Iran Transfo Corp. (TRNS +0.57%) recorded the highest trade volume,
with IRR 166 billion (approx. USD 4.4 million) of shares traded. The TSE’s
total traded value reached IRR 2,664 billion (approx. USD 72 million), down
20% from the previous trading session.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the thirty
largest companies by market capitalization gained 0.12% to close at 3,154,
with Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (KSHJ +2.57%) leading the top
gainers and Esfahan Oil Refining Co. (PNES -1.61%) falling the most. Total traded
value of the top 30s was 47% down at IRR 262 billion (approx. USD 7 million).
