The new website of the LIFE-SAVE project that uses responsive technology (to automatically adapt
to reading on all screen types) is now online.

On the site specific information is available on project goals, on
the partners, and on the patents with videos in many languages on
the project of solar hybridization of cars.

The partners of LIFE-SAVE project are developing increasing technical and scientific cooperation with China on sustainable mobility issues

I ricercatori dell’Università di Salerno hanno presentato uno studio sugli effetti della temperatura sulle prestazioni dei pannelli fotovoltaici per applicazioni Automotive al Symposium AVEC 2018, tenutosi a Pechino dal 16 al 20 luglio 2018. Lo studio ha permesso di sviluppare modelli matematici in grado di valutare le variazioni di efficienza delle celle fotovoltaiche durante il moto della vettura e nelle fasi di sosta. A settembre, sarà presentato alla conferenza ECOSM 2018 di Changchun uno studio comparativo in termini di analisi del ciclo di vita (LCA) per diverse soluzioni alternative di mobilità sostenibile.

Grazie ad un’attività scientifica e di networking pluriennale sui temi della mobilità sostenibile, l’Università di Salerno ed il suo spin-off eProInn sono tra i pochi e selezionati partner scientifici del Department of Automotive Engineering della Tsinghua University di Pechino, una delle prime università nei ranking mondiali.

The researchers of the University of Salerno have presented a study about thermal effects on photovoltaic panels for automotive applications at the AVEC Symposium, held in Beijing, July 16-20, 2018.

A mathematical model able to estimate the effects of temperature on efficiency during vehicle motion and parking has been developed. This tool is useful both for vehicle design and for real-time control. In September, a comparative analysis in terms of LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) between different solutions for sustainable mobility will be presented at the ECOSM 2018.

Conference in Changchun

Thanks to an intense scientific and networking activity on sustainable mobility issues, the University of Salerno and the spin-off eProInn are part of the selected partners of the Department of Automotive Engineering of the Tsinghua University of Beijing, one of the top world universities.

SMAU accoglie LIFE-SAVE a “Italy Restartsup in Berlin” 2018

Dal 13 al 15 Giugno, il progetto LIFE-SAVE è stato presentato alla quarta edizione dello SMAU “Italy Restartsup in Berlin”, manifestazione dedicata all’innovazione in Italia dal 1964.

Il 14 giugno il professor Rizzo, CEO di eProInn, è stato tra i relatori del Workshop “Smart City: the driver for development of territories and companies”, insieme ad un numero selezionato di start-up italiane.

Il Mitte, il primo quotidiano online per gli italiani all’estero, ha selezionato eProInn con il suo progetto HySolarKit come uno dei quattro progetti italiani più rilevanti ed innovativi tra quelli presentati allo SMAU di Berlino: la presentazione dell’idea ha inoltre ottenuto un esplicito endorsement da parte di aziende automobilistiche di primissima fascia come Porsche e Mercedes.

Smau welcomes LIFE-SAVE to "Italy Restartsup in Berlin" 2018

From 13 to 15 June, the LIFE-SAVE project was presented at the fourth edition of Smau "Italy Restartsup in Berlin", an event dedicated to innovation in Italy from 1964.

On June 14, Professor Rizzo, CEO of Eproinn, was among the rapporteurs of the Workshop "Smart City: The driver for development of territories and companies", together with a selected number of Italian startups.

The Mitte, the first online newspaper for Italians abroad, has selected Eproinn with its Hysolarkit project as one of the four most important and innovative Italian projects among those presented at the Smau in Berlin: The presentation of the idea has also Obtained an explicit endorsement from top-of-the-range automobile companies such as Porsche and Mercedes.

Il 17 luglio 2018 presso il Centro Velico Avigliana si è tenuta una tappa speciale del Tesla Destination Tour con ospite speciale la barca solare del TU Delft Solar Boat team.

Un evento all’insegna della sostenibilità e dell’energia solare, con due progetti in mostra realizzati dalla torinese Solbian che si è occupata della copertura fotovoltaica dell’aliscafo olandese e del tetto solare del rimorchio street food F-Trailer.

In tale contesto non poteva mancare una menzione al progetto Life-Save in cui Solbian stessa è coinvolta e a cui si è fatto riferimento nel corso dell’evento.

On July 17, 2018 at the Centro Velico Avigliana was held a special stage of the Tesla Destination Tour with special guest The solar boat of the TU Delft Solar boat team.

An event in the name of sustainability and solar energy, with two projects on display made by the Turin Solbian who has dealt with the photovoltaic coverage of the Dutch hydrofoil and the solar roof of the trailer street food F-trailer.

In this context, a mention could not be lacking in the Life-Save project in which Solbian itself is involved and referred to during the event.

SAE di TORINO: riduzione di CO2 per i sistemi di trasporto

Turin SAE: CO2 Reduction for transport systems

Il SAE di Torino, in collaborazione con l’ANFIA ( Associazione Nazionale Filiera Industria Automobilistica) e l’ ATA (Associazione Tecnica dell’Automobile) ha promosso una conferenze sulle tecnologie di riduzione della CO2 per i sistemi di trasporto sostenibili, sia in termini di miglioramento dell’efficienza del gruppo propulsore che in termini di riduzione della domanda di energia dei veicoli.

Il programma tecnico ha fornito interessanti spunti su argomenti di grande rilievo quali: regolamenti e tendenze future, combustibili alternativi, elettrificazione e tecnologie di ibridazione, tecnologie di riduzione della domanda di energia del veicolo, miglioramento della gestione energetica on board, tecnologie leggere.

Il progetto LIFE-SAVE è stato presentato ad una platea composta sia da aziende che da gruppi di ricerca provenienti da tutto il mondo.

Complessivamente, i partecipanti alla conference sono stati più di 400 con la partecipazione di più di 70 qualificati relatori provenienti da prestigiose associazioni, università, centri di ricerca e industrie sia italiane sia straniere

The SAE of Torino, in collaboration with the ANFIA (National Association of Automotive Industry) and the ATA (Automobile Technical Association), has promoted a conference on CO2 reduction Technologies for sustainable transport systems, both In terms of improving the efficiency of the thruster group than in terms of reducing the energy demand of the vehicles.

The technical programme has provided interesting insights into important topics such as: future regulations and trends, alternative fuels, electrification and hybridization technologies, vehicle energy demand reduction technologies, Improvement of energy management on board, Light technologies.

The LIFE-SAVE project has been presented to an audience composed of both companies and research groups from all

over the world.

Altogether, conference participants were more than 400 with the participation of more than 70 qualified speakers from prestigious associations, universities, research centres and both Italian and foreign industries.

Il contratto del nuovo governo italiano prevede di introdurre incentivi per le auto, per contribuire a raggiungere gli obiettivi stabiliti dall'accordo sul clima di Parigi, finalizzati a ridurre i gas a effetto serra e
contenere l'aumento medio della temperatura globale entro i 2 gradi.

Il progetto prevede un’ampia serie di
misure, quali incentivi per l'acquisto di auto ibride o elettriche ed interventi di retrofit su veicoli con motore
a combustione interna per ridurne le emissioni.

The contract of the new Italian government includes specific incentives for cars, to help achieving the targets set by the Paris climate agreement, i.e. to reduce greenhouse gases and contain the average global
temperature increase

within 2 degrees.

A large set of measures are expected, including incentives for the
purchase of hybrid or electric cars and installation of devices that make the conventional cars greener and
less polluting.
