Christmas in Colorado
AN OLD-FASHIONED CHRISTMAS, SAN JUAN MOUNTAIN STYLE --
On Friday, December 21st at 5:00 p.m., Ouray, Colorado will celebrate the coming of Christmas with a Bon Fire and Caroling in the heart of town. The following day (Saturday the 22nd) you can take in Ouray's many natural beauties and outdoor activities; snow shoe, cross-country ski, ice climb, or visit our downtown shops and galleries. That evening the Ouray County Nordic Council will organize a Full-Moon Cross-Country Ski & Soak. Participants gather at City Hall at 7:00 p.m. to car-pool to the Ironton Park ski area in the shadows of the Red Mountains. After an energetic ski everyone heads to the Ouray Natural Hot Springs Pool for a relaxing soak, weather permitting. The Spangler House B&B invites you to stay with us where you can sleep in a bed with a pillow-topped mattress and a quilted comforter. You may also soak in our large outdoor Hot Tub. Breakfasts are full and hearty at the Spangler House. We also have free Wi-Fi throughout the B&B. Dates: December 21-22. Cost: The winter room rates at the Spangler House B&B range from $75 per night to $105 per night for the suite.
