Earth Hour

See Pittwater in a whole new light

At 8pm on 29 March 2008, Earth Hour goes global, with cities and towns around the world taking stand on the greatest threat our planet has ever faced, and millions of people uniting to turn the tide on global warming.

Join us at Carol’s Wharf on Scotland Island around 6pm for Earth Hour - Pittwater style. Bring a blanket or chairs, and all you need for a candlelit picnic. Make sure you turn off all your lights at home and all unessential appliances before you come.

At 8pm off go the lights and we can sit under the stars knowing we have done a little bit for our earth.

Suggestions and/or assistance for the night would be most welcome. I would also welcome anyone willing to organise a picnic for Tennis Wharf at the same time, so please call me, Therese - 0418640910.
