MIGHTY MANATEES LAST OUTDOOR SHOW OF THE YEAR! - It's true! The Mighty Manatees will play our final outdoor show of 2016 this Friday, October 7, at a street festival in downtown Lansdale, PA. This FREE, all-ages show will be held at Wood & Main St. as part of Lansdale's First Friday series. Showtime is 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Bring the family. We do love to play outside...
SIR VAN MORRISON & THE SHANATEES! - It's true! This Sunday, October 9, Randy Wagner, Brett Andrew & myself will accompany Shana Morrison as she opens for her father at the legendary (Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix) Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York. Our set begins at 7:30 PM. There are still a few tickets available...
THE LOCAL DEBUT! - On Saturday, October 22. The Mighty Manatees will debut at a new club called The Local in Point Pleasant, PA. Showtime is 8 - 12.
On a personal note, I would just like to thank all my family, friends, and fans who helped me celebrate my 60th birthday a few weeks ago. Unbeknownst to me, a collection was taken up and enough was raised to buy me a new accordion!! I was very moved by everyone's warm wishes and generosity. I will be spending the winter months learning how to play this mighty instrument.
