About Love Jones

Starring: Larenz Tate, Nia Long, Isaiah Washington
New Line Cinema; Directed by Theodore Witcher
Rated R; 105 minutes; 1996

Professional photographer Nina Mosley (Nia Long) has had it with men. But she’s definitely attracted Darius Lovehall (Larenz Tate) a hip Chicago poet who recites a poem to her in a smoky jazz club. Initially, Darius and Nina are contented with just "kicking it," but eventually, the pair realizes that their relationship is about more than just sex.
