Art Below takes it’s top off to celebrate 40 years of Page Three.
Over the last few weeks there has been an interesting exchange going on between some of the Sun Newspaper's Page 3 glamor models and leading contemporary art world talent.

Art Below has collaborated with The Sun Newspaper to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Page Three Girls, to present an exclusive exhibition of 40 works inspired from the nations favorite pin-ups.

Celebrated artists including Nasser Azam, Julie Verhoven and Inkie have specially produced works inspired by individual sittings with the models themselves.  These are all to be auctioned off in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer at a special London based event to be announced later on this month.

A selection of these works has this week being featured in an exclusive anniversary spread in the Sun co-insiding with an Art Below campaign of selected works displaying at major London Stations including Angel, Bond Street, London Bridge, Old Street and Sloane Square.

Performance Art in Poster Form
Art Below Ltd in partnership with Polish Cultural Institute has  the pleasure to present the new project by the artist Piotr Krzymowski.
In an amusing but insightful way Piotr has presented us with a performance piece using his own body to demonstarte the passing of time and captured the entire process in the form of a poster being displayed currently at Sloane Square.

Launched in the summer of 2010, hipstamatics.com is a blog dedicated to iPhone Hipstamatic photography.  A beautiful online photo reel, it brings together and showcases some of the very best Hipstamatic shots from around the globe alongside some in-house originals.

People can scroll through the ever-expanding library of Hipstamatic shots and most importantly can share their own photos, submitting them for selection via Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter and e-mail.

From the hundreds of pictures on the blog the Orange Dot Gallery will showcase 157 prints - the same number as the amount of original analog cameras produced.  A homage to both the history and future of Hipstamatics the exhibition will showcase some of the best works featured on the site to date, from both the submitted snaps and their own specially sourced and exclusive work.

Available to purchase for the duration of the show will be 100 limited 'Hipstamatics Sleeves'. Specially printed for Hipstamatics at The Orange Dot Gallery, the sleeves will hold 10 Hipstamatic prints of your choosing.

A movement has started, opening up an opportunity for people around the globe to produce some outstanding lo fi photography all from their mobile phone.  It's a revolution that looks set to only continue to grow. There is still time to submit a print for the exhibition, so head over to www.hipstamatics.com to be a part of Hipstamatics.

"There is nothing the matter with Americans except their ideals.  The real American is all right; it is the ideal American who is all wrong." (G.K. Chesterton)

Take all the disparate elements of American identity, put them in a blender and among the pulp and pith, you might end up with something reminiscent of the latest offerings from Sardine & Tobleroni. Full of the inherent contradictions of American society and values, these new works take pot shots at notions of freedom and paranoia in this great country, of great extremes...read more

 Trolley Gallery | Collective Noun

25th November to January 11th
49 Albemarle Street, London W1 4JR

Trolley Gallery is proud to present an exhibition of Trolley artists at Faggionato Fine Art, relocating from Shoreditch in east London to the West End, a soon to be permanent move. Trolley's program focuses on new and emerging artists in the UK and international artists who have not shown in London before. Collectively this is a growing and diverse group, the majority of which are women artists.
This has become loosely but not overwhelmingly the theme for the show. The artists chosen here by Trolley embrace varying media, often interpreting the more perceptive sensibilities of artistic practice, producing metaphysical, psychological as well as formal explorations.
