TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index finished the day up 0.45% at 165,445. Paper Products (+4.26%) saw the highest increase among sectors, while the biggest faller of the day was Agriculture (-2.39%). Banking (-0.30%) was the market volume leader with trades totaling IRR 1,267 billion (approx. USD 30 million). Esfahan Oil Refining Co. (PNES +4.22%) Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +1.53%) and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Co. (PKLJ +3.19%) were the main movers of the All-Share Index. Dr. Abidi Pharmaceuticals Co. (ABDI +4.94%) was the most traded stock with IRR 445 billion (approx. USD 10 million) of shares exchanged. The total traded value of the market reached IRR 7,286 billion (approx. USD 173 million), up 13% from the previous trading session.
The TSE30 index of the 30 largest companies by market capitalization closed at 8,027 for a gain of 0.30%. The biggest riser was Tabriz Oil Refining Co. (PNTB +4.95%) while Saipa Group (SIPA -3.27%) dropped the most. Total traded value of the top 30 stocks reached IRR 1,622 billion (approx. USD 38 million), up 26% from the previous trading session. |
