Helen Arney News, March 2013

This month: things to hear and see...
(surprised to see this? scroll to the bottom!)
On your radio this week
I'm live on BBC Radio 3 this Friday, 15th March, doing some comedy bits for Red Nose Day! Tune in between 2 and 4.30 to hear my take on "Ridiculous Baroque" or listen on iPlayer afterwards.

Listen all day to hear a whole bunch of musical funnies, some of them written by me and James Sherwood, all designed to make you donate your cash and choose one piece to become "Top of the Baroque"

The tinkle of my ukulele also appears in the "Loose Canons" remix of Pachelbel's famous piece... sneak preview here... now, give us your money!
Festival of the Spoken Nerd - 3 nights!
Festival of the Spoken Nerd just keeps on growing. After selling out in January, we're back at the Bloomsbury Theatre for 3 nights of TECHNOBABBLE. It's 16, 17 and 18 April, get your tickets here. Our super-special guest this time is digital artist Seb Lee-Delisle with a heap of interactive fun. We're just about to order 2,000 glow sticks. Don't miss this one!

Now more accessible! On our third night we've added Stagetext, live subtitles for deaf and hard of hearing audience. I've wanted to do this at a Spoken Nerd show for AGES, now it's happening we really need spread the word and prove to everyone that it's worth doing. Know anyone who would benefit? Please pass it on!
