THE BIG ART AUCTION 2020
There is one week left to bid on new bespoke work created specially by world renowned leading artists for The Big Issue who provide a lifeline for the most vulnerable and marginalised people in the UK.
Artists including Gavin Turk, Joana Vasconcelos, Joe Rush, Bran Symondson and Lauren Baker who have been provided with an iconic Stratocaster guitar to transform into incredible pieces of artwork. The results are incredible and are all viewable and available to bid on here.
The Auction promises to be an evening of entertainment, fundraising and artist engagement. The Auction Collective’s online bidding platform will be combined with a live streamed, meticulously produced show featuring both lot introductions from artists alongside high energy bidding led by charismatic auctioneer Tom Best.
In addition to the guitar fundraiser, leading artists have also donated contemporary artwork to the auction including Conrad Shawcross, Unskilled Worker and Hayden Kays.
