Hello Firstname
Wednesday 15 May
Next Wednesday, 15 May, we will be treated to an evening of prints with our own Pete McCloskey FRPS APAGB. Pete is one of the longest serving members of the Society and over the years has produced some wonderful images, some of which you will see on Wednesday along with some new images he has been producing lately.

DI Group
The next meeting of the DI Group is Monday 13 May. All members are welcome and are encouraged to bring along images, either prints or projected, for discussion, problem solving or just to show everyone what you've been up to since the last meeting. And don't forget the main reason we all turn up - Ashwin's chocolate biscuits!

Annual Print Competition
The 2013 Annual Print Competition is nearly upon us; the closing date is just a few days away, next Wednesday 15 May. This year's judge is Glyn Edmunds APSA EPSA EFIAP/s ARPS.
If you have any queries concerning the exhibition or its rules, please email David Southwell at david@vizion2000.net

Trumpet Blowers' Corner
BPS member, Shaun Boycott-Taylor has recently had an image accepted for the 2014 McMillan Cancer Support calendar (and it's not a bird on a bl***y stick!), so place your orders for the calendar and support a wonderful cause.

If you want to blow your own trumpet or, dare I say such a thing, blow someone else's trumpet for them, then this is the place to do it. Please let me know and I'll include it in the next issue.
