We have a surprise...and it’s good news!  WE HAVE A HOME TO WATCH THE BILLS THIS SEASON!

Starting this Sunday, the Briar Group is opening Hurricane’s so that we can have a home to watch the Bills this fall!  Seating will be socially distanced and COVID safety protocols will be followed.  In order to do so, they will not be seating at full capacity and reservations are REQUIRED.  Hurricane’s is just 2 blocks from the Harp at 150 Canal Street, Boston.

SEATING WILL BE LIMITED AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SHOW UP ON GAME DAY WITHOUT A RESERVATION.

HOW DO I GET A RESERVATION?

You MUST follow these instructions exactly.

Here is how it is going to work for this week (while we work on a more streamlined plan)

  1. Reservations will be accepted in the order they come in and ONLY via email.
  2. As soon as you read this post you can email hello@hurricanesboston.com
  3. Use the subject line “Reservation Request for Bills Club”
  4. State your full name, your phone number (that you USE), and how many people at your table (MAX OF 6 people per table)
  5. You MUST receive a call back from Hurricane’s GM Des Sherry to confirm your reservation has been accepted.
  6. Reservations are first come, first served and when tables are full for this week, that is it.

WHAT WILL GAME DAY LOOK LIKE?

Things are different this year and I assume everyone is familiar with the “new normal” concept.  For us that means:

  1. Hurricane’s will open at 11am.  That means 11am, you will not be let in sooner and you may not wait in any sort of line or congregate outside.
  2. Please do NOT show up if you do not have a confirmed reservation (per instructions above).
  3. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.  Your mask must be properly worn, covering your mouth and nose when you are being greeted, shown to your table, and anytime you need to walk to the bathroom.  When you stand up, your mask goes on.
  4. You must remain at your own table and seated unless traveling to the bathroom.  You may NOT visit other tables.
  5. Everyone consuming alcohol at your table MUST order food.

These are state laws and regulations that Hurricane’s must follow in order to remain open.  They are not designed to be party poopers, but they are non-negotiable.  Failure to follow the rules could result in asking you to leave and/or your reservation not being accepted in the future.  Please follow them for the sake of everyone’s safety and for everyone’s ability to keep enjoying Sundays at Hurricane’s!

All that being said we are SO EXCITED to have a home for Bills Football to offer to you this week and hopefully for weeks to come!  We hope to see many familiar, and maybe some new, faces this Sunday!  We are so very grateful to the Harp and Briar Group management for making this happen for us.  They have been so good to us for 25 years and really bending over backwards in these tough times to come through.

If you come Sunday, please keep in mind that the staff and management have been through it this year and command our utmost respect and appreciation.  Please follow the rules, please be kind and courteous through any bumps in the road that may happen in our first week, and as always PLEASE make sure to reflect your gratitude in your gratuity.  We know Bills fans are the best and expect nothing less from everyone!

GO BILLS!
