Market Summary

TSE All-Share Index

The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index closed barely changed today at 81,659, slipping just two points. The top performing sector was Transportation & Logistics (+2.20%) while Paper Products (-2.19%) was the biggest faller. Base Metals (+0.05%) was the most traded among sectors with volume of IRR 201 billion (approx. USD 5.2 million). Parsian Oil and Gas Development Co. (PASN +3.86%), Informatics Services Corp. (INFO -2.18%) and Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (KSHJ +2.38%) were the stocks most influencing the All-Share Index. The most actively traded stock was Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +0.22%) with IRR 93 billion (approx. USD 2.4 million) of shares changing hands. The total traded value of the TSE added 3% from yesterday, reaching IRR 1,156 billion (approx. USD 30 million).

TSE30 Index

The TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization ended unchanged in line with the broader index at 3,284. The biggest riser was Parsian Oil and Gas Development Co. (PASN +3.86%), while Golgohar Mining and Industrial Co. (GOLG -1.52%) fell the most. The total traded value of the top 30s added 36% to IRR 320 billion (approx. USD 8.4 million).
