Well hello my friends!
Where has the time gone? Each time i sit down to write one of these, I feel like I'm just slowing down enough to catch my breath. I need to take a chill pill...but not before these final 2 months of the year! Here's a recap and sneak peak of what's around the corner...
NEW VIDEO!
 Joy Ike Trio! I guess that's what we've been unofficially calling ourselves for the last 3 months. It's been fun to tighten our set, begin testing out new material, and give old songs new life all while playing a Steinway (in this particular case)! Here is a brand new recording of a song we played at our Sweetwater Center for the Arts concert 2 weeks ago. Hope you like it. Share if you do:) WATCH IT!
ALBUM UPDATE!
 Well for starters... *drumroll please*
We are DONE tracking the album!!! No more studio session. No more hikes up to Boston. No more added instrumentation. Harmonies, bass, cello, piano, uke, drums, guitar, more drums, accordian (yes, i said accordian) are DONE!!! I think there are other instruments, but i've lost track :)
What's that mean...
Well next we finish up editing, and then we go into the mixing stage. Then mastering. And well...we're getting there folks! Not there yet, but getting there! But I'm happy to let you know we are inching closer!!! If you want an insiders look into what we've been up to over the last month, you can check these out!
