Help The Native Plant Conservation Campaign Fight For Plants and Science in 2020!
Dear native plant conservation advocate:
This is an awful time for the global environment. Climate and extinction emergencies are putting all life on earth at risk. But the international and scientific communities are fighting back. And we are helping!
Here in the U.S., thanks to your support and hard work, we are making unprecedented progress with groundbreaking native plant conservation initiatives both on Capitol Hill and in the states! Now as we approach the crucial 2020 elections, we need your help more than ever to keep the momentum going. This is the only time we will ask you for money for 2019!
Did you know?
- The NPCC and partners continued our Get Out The Vote for Plants and Wildlife initiative in 2019! We registered voters and helped get them to the polls all over the U.S. More than 16,000 visited our website and more than 100,000 people viewed our Facebook ads. The 2020 election is set to be one of the most important events in this nation’s history.
- The NPCC added a new section on our web page offering tools and information on how native plants are crucial to Nature Based Solutions to climate change and other threats to humanity. In 2019, the United Nations and others launched initiatives promoting Nature Based Solutions to hunger, climate change and other emergencies.
- Under the historic National Seed Strategy, more than 150 projects have been implemented to develop reliable sources of locally adapted native plant materials for restoration and revegetation!
