The Master and His Apprentice

Paul Burchall was one of Scotland Islands true characters.

He lost his fight with cancer early on Saturday morning only
one month after being diagnosed.

As you know, Paul succumbed to a terrible stroke 22 months
ago which confined him to a wheelchair. Since then he's
lived at the War Vets nursing home, coming home on a few
occasions.

In the 22 years Paul lived on the Island he's been very
generous with his contribution to our Community with many
roles including the Woody Point Yacht Club and the
Scotland Island Players. Who can forget Paul's stunning
outfits at the Woody Point Yacht Club Ladies Race days and
as the Wizard in Isky Bibble to name just a few.

Paul loved Scotland Island and I'm hoping we can all get
together to celebrate his life shortly.
