TSE All-Share Index
Tehran stocks began the Iranian New
Year on a positive note, with the TSE All-Share Index closing up 0.33% at
77,485 as trading on the Tehran Stock Exchange resumed today after a six-day
break for Norouz. Automotive (+2.64%) led the gainers among sectors while Oil
Products (-0.45%) was the biggest faller of the day. Base Metal (-0.18%) was
the most traded sector with a volume of IRR 148 billion (approx. USD 3.9
million). The top positive movers of the index were Mobile Telecommunication
of Iran (HMRZ +1.62%), Iran Khodro (IKCO +3.76%) and MAPNA Group (MAPN
+1.66%). The stock posting the highest trading volume of the day was
Khorasan Steel Co. (FKAS -0.14%) with IRR 108 billion (approx. USD 2.9
million) of trades. In total 326 million securities were traded on the
TSE for IRR 883 billion (approx. USD 24 million).
TSE30 Index
The
TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization closed
at 3,105, up 0.25% from the last trading session on March 18. Iran Khodro
(IKCO +3.76%) was the biggest gainer in the top 30s, while National Iranian
Copper Industries Co. (MSMI -0.75%) dropped the most. The total traded value
of the top 30s reached IRR 149 billion (approx. USD 3.9 million), down 56%
from the last session.
