UPDATED DIARY NOTICE: 25 September 2019, 1pm
WHAT: The Wheel, the national association of charities, to host an urgent meeting of over 50 charities to discuss the potential consequences for their service users if, as anticipated, the Government proceeds with plans to prepare the forthcoming budget on the basis that there will be a no-deal Brexit on 31 October.
WHEN: Wednesday, 25 September, 1pm-2.30pm
WHERE: Buswells Hotel, Georgian Suite
WHO: The event will include contributions from:

- Eamon Teague, Director of Residential Services
- Marian Quinn, Chair of the Prevention and Early Intervention Network (PEIN)
- Jacquie Horan, CEO of COPE, Galway
- Ivan Cooper, Director of Public Policy at The Wheel
PHOTO-CALL (2pm): Around 20 charity workers will spell out the message "INVEST IN COMMUNITY" in large, colourful letters. Representatives from all the political parties will be meeting them to receive a submission. At 2pm sharp in front of Leinster House (Dawson Street).
