Event Happens: Thursday, August 16, 5 - 9 PM
Where: Flagler Avenue, New Smyrna Beach
More than 30 restaurants will compete for the "Best on the Beach” Awards. They will offer taste-sized portions of their specialties for $3 - $5. There also will be beer gardens, live entertainment and a kids zone.

On Saturday, August 25, The DeLand Mainstreet Association is putting on their annual Bar-B-Q & Blues Cook-Off in historic Downtown DeLand. The Cook-off will be benefiting the Mainstreet DeLand Association and the Toys-For-Tots foundation. If you are interested in participating in the event, cooks can register their bar-b-q at the Mainstreet DeLand Association's website.

Our favorite food convoy will be rolling back onto Flagler Avenue on August 31! Come join the delicious action happening by stopping by from 6-9 PM and tasting what these trucks have to offer.

Come celebrate your Labor Day weekend in New Smyrna Beach! The weekend begins on Friday, August 31, which is right around the corner and there are plenty of activities and places to spend your time with family and friends.
One of our most popular destinations for fun-in-the-sun, aside from the beach, is Disappearing Island. Located in the inlet, this island by day and sandbar by night, is great fun for children, adults, and dogs alike! Swimming in the water, Bar-B-Qs, music, meeting new people, and frisbee are all elements that make Disappearing Island a great destination for locals and tourists. Ask us about renting a boat!
On the South side of New Smyrna Beach is the gateway to Canaveral National Seashore. One of our country's national parks, Canaveral National Seashore contains North America's largest estuary where you can kayak, explore early settlements, and experience the beach landscape in its essence. The wildlife is stunning... Sea turtles nest and hatch to explore the world, dolphins play, and deer roam free. It's a great place to learn about "natural" Florida, explore, surf, swim, and relax.
