Just a reminder, proposals for our upcoming Music Theory Pedagogy interactive workshop scheduled for June 6-7, 2025 are due soon!
Traditional presentation proposal sessions are due this weekend! We know that some of you may be on break at this time, so just email Jamie at the address below and request an extension if you need more time to put your proposal together.
"Favorites" sessions, featuring best-loved activities, teaching pieces, or projects are due March 14th, and our "Pitches" 20 minute session proposals are due on March 17th.

We are very pleased to announce our MACRO 2025 Composition Competition results! The winner for 2025 is Clifton Callender for the composition "Arches and Strings" and honorable mention is presented to Shahar Regev for the composition "The Entrance Stone." Congratulations! We also would like to acknowledge and thank Rich Freese for his leadership of the Composer's Competition, and to both Aaron Kirchner and Michael Wittgraf who serve as judges for the program.
