MIGHTY MANATEES AT WORLD CAFE LIVE - It's true! The Mighty Manatees will make a rare Philadelphia appearance on Saturday, April 28 at World Cafe Live when we take part in "A 75th Birthday Tribute to George Harrison". We have played upstairs at World Cafe Live in the past, but this will be our first time playing on the downstairs national stage. This event is being hosted by singer/songwriter and long time Manatees friend Charlie Phillips http://www.charliephillips.com . CINCO DE MAYO-TEES - On Saturday, May 5, we will be playing OUTSIDE in the courtyard of The Blue Bell Inn in Blue Bell, PA. Vocalist Kathleen Weber from Stop Making Sense and drummer Josh Kanusky from The David Bromberg Band will both be joining us around the mighty fire pit. Showtime is 8:00 - 11:00. Senoritas, dance!
AL'S 60TH BIRTHDAY PARTY - Al is a long time Manatee fan and friend. Al is turning 60 and he's having a party on Saturday, May 12. The fun starts at 12 noon. Cassie's Band goes on at 1:00 PM. The Mighty Manatees play next and are followed by Karmic Repair Co. Covered dishes are welcome. Camping is available. Plenty of food. BYOB. This is an OUTSIDE event. LGBT PARTY w/ MIGHTY MANATEES AT HOTEL FIESOLE - As many of you fanatees already know, we play the Hotel Fiesole in Skippack, PA, on the third Friday of every month. (Indeed, we will be playing there this Friday, April 20.) But next month, on Friday, May 18, we will be joined at Hotel Fiesole by the Montgomery County LGBT Business Council for a dance party! You can also meet some senatorial and legislative district candidates who are all advocates of the LGBT community. This dance party is open to the public and starts at 8:00 PM. BOB DYLAN BIRTHDAY TRIBUTE - For the third straight year, Mystic Vagabond Productions will present a tribute to the mighty Bob Dylan on his birthday, Thursday, May 24, in the Rising Sun Barn in Telford, PA.
