Welcome to the Canopy

We have a new name for the Great Adventure History Newsletter, The Enchanted Forest Canopy.   For those who don't know, the original name for the theme park was The Enchanted Forest, and the park was known for its dense cover of trees which great care was taken to preserve during park construction.

In The Spotlight:
Skull Mountain

Our next attraction spotlight feature is Skull Mountain.   Skull Mountain was a great step forward in themed ride experiences for the park when it was added in 1996.   Then under Time Warner management, the park strove to add more themed attractions, and Skull Mountain fit the bill with its elaborate building and queue which dressed up an otherwise unremarkable roller coaster.  Many people have asked about the layout of the coaster, and the pictures we feature in the spotlight give you a better idea of the structure inside before the building was completely enclosed.
It's not too late to take our survey!

Click on the survey link to answer a few questions about what new features you'd like to see added to the website, and who you are.

All responses are confidential, and we really value your feedback to help us decide what we will add in the future.

Thanks for signing up for our mailing list, and we look forward to sharing more Great Adventure memories.
