We've added three new yarns this month. The first in Linaza. Linaza is a fingering weight blend of 50% alpaca, 25% linen and 25% tencel. The blend of fibers gives a lovely heathered look to the 8 solid colors. It has 440 yards per 100g skein and we picture it being used for shawls, but it would also make a lovely summer shirt or lightweight sweater. |
The next yarn is Nettle Grove. It is a Summery blend of 45% cotton, 28% linen, 12% nettle and 15% silk. It is beautiful. Soft and heathery with a subtle sheen. Nettle Grove is a light sport weight with 218 yards per 50g ball and we have 4 beautiful colors. Nettle grove would be great for shawls, shirts, lightweight sweaters, skirts, or baby and kid items. |
The third yarn is Arequipa Fur. Arequipa Fur is a fun fur yarn made from natural fibers! It's a blend of 59% baby alpaca and 41% fine merino and there are 65 yards per 50g skein. Arequipa is great combined with other yarns, as a border or accent yarn or by itself as in the Zsa Zsa Cowl. It would also make some fabulous stuffed animals!
