Psychic Lights: Auras and Other Luminous Phenomena in Psychical Research with Carlos S. Alvarado, Ph.D

Many people have been observed to have a glow or an aura around their physical body.  This type of glow has been reported many times over the centuries around mystics and saints, mediums, dying persons and others. Auras, halos, spirits, or just a simple glowing, the mysteries behind these luminous phenomena have fascinated researchers.  Is this a physical event that occurs in the eye of the viewer or are these obervations the result of an actual glowing person?

The talk will include a presentation of many interesting cases of luminous phenomena and a discussion of possible explainations for these experiences.
