It's been a while since you have received a newsletter from us, so let's keep you up to date ....
Firstly, we do wish you a very happy and peaceful Christmas and a healthy and prosperous new year 2022.
Brexit happened and shipping costs increased (especially with ME-Geithain where we were hit with expensive handling costs to get the pallets through Customs), but we have managed to keep product prices the same over the year.
However, manufacturers have been hit with inctreased raw materials and shipping costs and are now starting to pass these increases on to us.
Håkan Pop Killer prices are now £48 +VAT each, AETA codecs now have a 5% increase and ME-Geithain loudspeakers have also increased in price.
Gefell microphones are still the same price, but I do understand they are working on a new price list and expect a price increase from them in the new year. So if you have been thinking about a new Gefell microphone please don't put it off too long if you want to get it at the old price - we do have demo models of most Gefell microphones available if you need to try one out first.
We do also have most of the HUM Audio ribbon microphones available for demonstration. These are very special ribbon microphones which are loved by the people who have tried them.
During the year we updated the Sound-Link website to a secure "https" site, so there should be no more "not secure" messages anymore. In the past we had left it as a standard site as we do not sell directly from the site, but have decided that the "not secure" messages were annoying and so upgraded to "https".
