BHAF Site Reps Meeting
17th January 2018 at 7pm

Dear Site Reps,

A reminder that there is a Site Reps meeting this week

Wednesday 17th January 2018
at Patcham Community Centre
from 7pm.

Compost Delivery
We will be discussing the free compost delivery, registering deliveries and answering questions. There has been a lot of interest.. and a lot of questions! Hopefully we can clear up any remaining questions on Wednesday.

One thing that came up was that plot holders and some Site Reps thought that  we were getting the compost for free. So some people were asking for a jumbo bag for each plot! To be clear, we are giving the compost to you for free, but the BHAF Committee are using our own funds to pay for it. We are suggesting that plot holders can take 1-2 wheelbarrows each.

The BHAF Committee receive a yearly payment from the Council to pay our costs. Over the last few years Committee members have not made expenses claims and we have also incurred less costs than previous Committees, meaning that our funds have built up. Rather than sit on this money, our treasurer Hannes decided we should share out the benefits to you, our members. That is the idea behind spending it on compost and distributing it for free. It means a little extra work for Site Reps in arranging the deliveries, but we hope the gain for plotholders will be worth it.

Other items for discussion, time permitting will be
Reviewing the strategy progress.
Current issues affecting Site Reps.
