ArtZuid: International Sculpture Route
Amsterdam
Ongoing till 22 September 2013
 
Kofi Setordji's work showing here in the lobby of the Apollo Hotel is part of the 2013 edition of ARTZUID. ArtZuid 2013 showcases mostly sculptural works by 61 artists,including El Anatsui, Atta Kwami.
These can be seen in the avenues of the leafy suburbs of southern district of Amsterdam.

Gideon Appah, a recent graduate from KNUST, held an exhibition at the Goethe Institut.
A variety of mixed- media collages, installations and paintings.
In his own words,'I was looking to create ... a strong intimacy between the viewer and the artwork'.

A collaborative, multi-media project documenting the link between religious Cuban and Ghanaian
ceremonies by artists Jill Flanders Crosby, Susan Matthews, Brian Jeffery, Marianne Kim,
Brandon McElroy, Melba Nunez and Roberto Pedroso Garcia.
The project includes video, paintings, illuminated manuscripts, installation work photos
and photographic assemblages.

4 weeks of learning fun ways to weave yarns and fibres like raffia, broomsticks,
jute,fabric and textiles to make purses, place mats etc.

Learn new skills whilst having fun with tie-dying, weaving and screen printing.
 
 
Summer Shakespeare 2013
Auditioning 10-14 June
Programme 17 June till 27 July
 
 
Summer Shakespeare will be returning to the Nubuke Foundation this June and July
with “The Comedy of Errors”.
This workshop is available for free to children aged 13 and up.
Program dates are June 10th to July 27th.
