Fungal inspired jewellery
Jewellers Maja Houtman en Karin Wichers –MAAK!design – make beautiful jewellery, inspired by fungi. They made Aspergillus, Fusarium, Cordyceps, but also Emericella and Alternaria. At the IMC12 they will present this work, next to their Elmseeds jewellery made from silver and parchment. Each jewel is a unique piece and handmade. Special offer at IMC12
During the congress they have a special offer: out of special castingwax they can model new pieces to your favourite fungus. Bring a good picture, they will model it on the spot. Casting and finishing will be done in the month after the congress. When finished they will send you your own, unique, custom-made piece!
 Miguel’s workshop – let’s get creative
Miguel Castro is a visual artist who is making art exploring mainly papercutting, watercolours, gel and lino printing. At the IMC12 he will showcase his unique work inspired by fungi, reaching from papercuts, water colour paintings, framed and unframed gel prints, lino print cards and bookmarks, to papercuts and printed packs.
