Hello Firstname

Wednesday 22 July
We continue our Scottish season with a visit from Carluke by Hunter Kennedy ARPS MPAGB EFIAP who will be presenting his print talk entitled My Style of Photography Hunter has been a member of Carluke CC for over 30 years but has taken his photography seriously since 2000 and by 2009 had achieved both EFIAP and MPAGB. He is a regular supporter of International Salons and is in demand in the UK as a lecturer and judge. Hunter’s main photographic interests are landscape and people, preferably candids.

Change to programme - 29 July will now see a visit from Harish Chavda (Arden Group) with his print talk called - Sporting Images.

Digital Imaging Group
Don't forget the re-scheduled DI Group meeting which is now on next Monday 20 July at 7.30pm. As usual all members are welcome, especially if they bring along images (either printed or projected) for discussion, advice or just to show off.

Print Group
The Print Group quarterly meeting, run by Pete McCloskey and Graham Reeves will now be held on Monday 27 July. The group is open to all members, but its aim is to give advice and prepare members ahead of applying for the photographic distinctions of the RPS and PAGB.
If you'd like further information, please email Pete at pmccloskey11@btinternet.com, and I'm sure he'll be pleased to help

Paper Bargain!
The club has a quantity of Fotospeed paper for sale that was received as payment for Salon catalogue advertising. It is Fotospeed PF Lustre A3 size, 275gm in boxes of 50 sheets.  We are asking £30 per box, which is a massive reduction of 25% from list price.  Anyone interested, please contact Keith Wood or Pete Howell on Wednesday.

Unit 13 - Update
One of the last pieces in the Unit 13 jigsaw was put in place this week, namely the completion of the work to create a new studio area.

Nick Ball has been thinking about the best way to organise future events so that we get the maximum/best use out of the new facilities. As a starting point he has created a doodle link as a poll for members to indicate the type of session that they would attend; click on this link to take you to a short questionnaire where you will be asked to tick a few boxes (nothing onerous like having to type long words!) or you can add your own suggestions.

Exhibitions & Film
Salt of the Earth 17 - 23 July at the Watershed, Bristol. "This documentary (co-directed by Wim Wenders and Salgado's son Juliano) is a look back at his life's work, as Salgado shares the stories behind his pictures, as well as a look at his current project focusing on the planet's beauty.
