Dear Neighbor,

As you may know, the future of Hoboken's rent control protections is on the November ballot

You are invited to join a coalition of tenant advocates and elected officials on Monday for a Happy Hour Fundraiser supporting the final push to inform Hoboken voters about the need to vote NO on the Hoboken Public Question

Every dollar raised will help Hoboken Tenants United stand up to the well-funded, absentee, corporate landlords’ campaign to gut our rent control protections.

When: Monday, October 21, at 6 PM
Where: Waiting Room, 72 Hudson St., Hoboken
How: RSVP with a donation of any amount

Let’s come together Monday and get out the word for the need to VOTE NO on the Hoboken Public Question. Whether you're able to attend in person or support from afar, every contribution counts.

Best regards-

P.S. The Jersey Journal Editorial Board issued an important editorial Friday well-worth reading

It begins: “A group of powerful Hoboken landlords is trying to scam city voters with a deceptive public referendum on the Nov. 5 ballot. They must not prevail.

And ends: “Mayor Ravi Bhalla, the entire nine-member council, and a bevy of tenants’ rights advocacy groups are opposed to this referendum. Every Mile Square voter should be, too.

Check it out.
