ReBelle will be closed for vacation July 4-10

The ReBelle girls are freshly back from their annual trip to the national needle arts convention in Columbus. They feel inspired, and they've picked out some great things they hope will inspire you as well including SIX new lines of yarn for this Fall. Much of it won't be here until the weather starts to turn cold, but we've got a little bit in the shop already!
Also, please note that ReBelle is going on vacation in July and the shop will be closed from July 4-10. Be sure to have everything you need before we leave!

We had so much fun picking out some new ceramic buttons for the shop. We have all different kinds of shapes and colors, there's cats, dogs, flowers, teddy bears, hedgehogs, sheep and even a few plainer designs to highlight any sweater. If you can't find a sweater to use them on, just glue a magnet on the back and stick them on your fridge where you can admire them every day! |
We've got 8 new colors of Summer Love! Summer love is a fingering weight bamboo/cotton/elastic yarn, it's perfect for knitting Summer socks and it's also very popular for anyone allergic to wool. The elastic gives Summer love a springiness that most cotton and bamboo yarns lack. |
We now carry Unicorn Fiber Wash, Fiber Rinse and Power Scour. Robyn has been trying to carry these in the shop for years now, and now we finally have them. The Power Scour is the quickest and easiest way we know to wash a raw fleece or if you are trying to get red wine or pet stains out of your carpet or upholstery it is just the thing. The Fiber Rinse is a conditioner for fiber in all forms, raw, unspun, yarn or in finished pieces. And Fiber Wash is a no-rinse wash for yarn and finished pieces (it's also really good for pulling out excess dye). |
We are now carrying Pom Pom Quarterly, a London-based full of creative and stylish patterns as well as interesting tutorials, interviews and articles. We like it and we think you will like it too. |
The yarn of the month for June is Pacific variegates and Color Wave. Pacific is a great yarn for anything that has to be machine washable. We particularly like it for babies and kids because it's durable, but still soft and it's regularly only $8/skein, so it won't break the bank. Pacific is a blend of 40% superwash merino and 60% acrylic and it has 213 yards/100g skein. Any project calling for worsted weight yarn will work for Pacific, but some patterns we find particularly adorable are: Five Hour Baby Sweater, Easy Peasy Socks for First Timers, Barley (hat), Ribbed Baby Jacket and Chevron Baby Blanket. |
