- Storm Recovery Works -

ISLAND ROADWORKS UPDATE 02.05.17



Council contractors have landed on the Island to carry out much needed repairs. 



Work will commence Tuesday, May 2 on items 6, 7 and 11 identified on the map i.e. Thompson Street at intersection of Harold Avenue and Cecil Street up to and including a section of Thompson Street. 



On Wednesday, May 3, they will be pouring asphalt sometime between the hours of 10am and 4pm during which time the road will need to be closed for 1-2 hours to allow the surface to harden.



Could residents who use the road between these locations please make alternative arrangements as required.
