Wednesday 8 June we have a visit from Diana Neale ARPS who will be presenting her talk: What Lies Beneath. Diana will show multilayered images which
draw on her understanding of the subconscious gained during her career as a
psychotherapist. She will describe how she approaches her work to portray the
fragmented, sometimes foggy nature of dreams and memories. To see examples of Diana's work, visit her website.

There has been a very positive response to my suggestion that we should wear name badges, as a result of which these will be available on Wednesday. It’s red for Council members, yellow for newer members/visitors and blue for everyone else. Please remember – the yellow lanyards simply indicate new Club members, not people who are necessarily new to photography. It will help if you’d collect your badge on arrival and, more importantly, put it back in the box when you leave. Carol membership@bristolphoto.org.uk

Contrary to popular belief, I do not possess psychic powers and need you to tell me if you've had successes. If you want to blow your own trumpet (or someone else's), then this is the place to do it. Please let me know and I'll include details in a future issue.

Please don't forget that if you change your address or gain additional photographic distinctions it would be appreciated if you could let the Membership Secretary know so that she can keep her records up to date - please email all changes to membership@bristolphoto.org.uk

I guess it is best to keep to the natural look! A 65 year old woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital. While on the operating table she had a near death experience.. Seeing God She asked "Is my time up?" God said, "No, you have another 33 years, 2 months and 8 days to live." Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a Face-lift, liposuction, breast implants and a tummy tuck. She even had someone come in and change her hair color and brighten her Teeth! Since she had so much more time to live, she figured she might as well make the most of it. After her last operation, she was released from the hospital. While crossing the street on her way home, she was killed by an ambulance. Arriving in front of God, she demanded, "I thought you said I had Another 33 years? Why didn't you pull me from out of the path of the Ambulance?"
(You'll love this)
God replied: " I didn't recognize you!!!!!"
Thanks to Brian Cheer for this.
