Christmas Day- 12/25
New Year Day- 1/1

I am writing this month's newsletter bundled up in my favorite handknit sweater. Seems like we were just enjoying 60 degree days, oh wait, we were!! While not a fan of cold weather, I love pulling out all of my handknits that have sat, neglected, for the past several months.

In the last week I have worn my Hermione's Everyday socks, FLOTUS shawl, Rosemont Cardigan, Sockhead Hat, Headband with a Twist, and my Susie Roger's Reading Mitts- and I am only getting started.

We have a busy holiday season planned this year- lots of small project classes to give you a break from the holiday hustle and bustle, some fun giveaways for Small Business Saturday, and even a sample sale where you have a chance to buy some of our older shop samples while giving back to a local organization.

This is one of the most exciting times of the year at the shop, lots of people knitting, crocheting, and making things for themselves and their loved ones. We love seeing all of your projects and we hope you keep them coming!

New In The Shop

We just got a huge restock of Butternut Sock from Northwoods Fibers as well as their Hemlock DK Fade kits. In addition to many of the old favorites, we have a nice selection of fall and winter colorways, solids, and brights. The Butternut Sock does well with patterns that really let the colorways shine. Sarah designed the Diamondback Hat (free in shop with yarn purchase) with contrasting garter and stockinette textures to do just that. Other patterns that would be great for showing off the Butternut Sock include: Sockhead Slouch Hat, Aglaisio (cowl), Willow Cowl, Close to You (Shawl), Reach for the Stars (shawl), Venezia Shawl Shawl, Hermione's Everyday Socks, and Business Casual (socks).

Looking for something to stab? We just got a fresh restock of Woolbuddy- we have a ton of new Woolbuddy needle felting kits and accessories fresh for the holiday season.

The Wool Buddy kits come with everything you need to make cute felted friends including fantastically detailed instructions. These kits make a great gift for anyone crafty and are ranked easy, medium or advanced so you can pick the perfect level for you or the recipient.

**Needle felting involves stabbing wool fiber with barbed needles which are very sharp, so it's recommended for mature kids ages 8 and up.**

Summer Myers of Sunrise Grove designs knitting tools and jewelry with a slightly dark and witchy vibe. You know we can't resist anything with a woodland themes so we knew right away we wanted to carry her stitch markers, just in time for gnome knitting season. Grab a set to accessorize your favorite knitting project this season!

We have lots of new needle felted pouches in the shop. These little pouches are popular year round as notions bags but they also make great gifts for kids and adults alike. We added some new designs and restocked some old favorites like the owls and flowers.
The November Crazy Beautiful Color of the month from Emma's Yarns is peace and love all wrapped up in a skein of yarn. It’s merry and bright, like the most colorful string of lights, and totally embodies their Floridian holiday spirit.

As usual, the color plays well with a huge variety of coordinating colors! Pictured here (top to bottom) with Bobbin, Cactus Flower, Oops! I Did It Again, Poppin’, Later, Gator, Freshly Cut, Zuni, and Trendy AF.

Events at ReBelle

This year, over the holiday season, we will be doing our first ever ReBelle Sample Sale. As much as we would love to keep each and every sample we have made for the shop, there just isn't space. This is where you come in, take home an amazing handmade piece for a great price. Grab something for yourself or to give as a gift, you can even claim to have made it yourself, we don't judge.

To keep the giving spirit alive, we are donating 100% of the sample sales to Arbor Youth Services, a fantastic local nonprofit that works to end youth homelessness by providing a safe and supportive environment to youth who have suffered abuse, abandonment, or are at risk of victimization. They fill the gap between foster services and adulthood giving kids a better chance at success.

The sample sale will run from Friday, November 29 until Sunday, December 15

For our November and December shop KAL/CAL, we will be focusing on holiday projects- both projects with holiday themes (advent calendars, stockings, decor) and projects meant as holiday gifts. This is your chance to get an early start on those holiday projects and get help and support along the way. For those of you longing to get something new on the needles, Robyn created a Ravelry bundle with several pattern ideas if you need some help finding the perfect project. She is also available if you need help finding a pattern for a particular yarn.

All ReBelle knit alongs are free and open to the public. You are welcome to attend as many or as few of the KAL sessions as you like.
