Perugia Press publishes the best new woman poet each year—the winner of our annual contest. Our goal is to reach as large an audience as possible, publishing poetry that is welcoming to new readers as well as interesting to longtime readers. We also celebrate and promote poetry whenever we can through bringing the work of our poets, and local poets, into classrooms, public readings and events, social media, and the hands of readers.
