We're excited to share another week of news & ideas with our MAiZE family. There never seems to be a shortage of ideas and the truth is that some of the best originate with all of you! So, if you ever have an idea you'd like us to pass along to the group, please just send it our way. Also, please remember that we'll be archiving these ideas on the siteowner web site, so that you can go back and view them whenever you like.
Last Chance to Submit Scholarship Applications
There's still time to fill out scholarship applications! Below is a link to the page in the private toolbox where the online application is located. Applications are due July 21, 2017.

Due to the generous support of the Corn Party auction, this year 8 scholarships in the amount of $3000 will be awarded to students enrolled for full-time upper education (i.e., college, tech school, etc.) in the fall of 2017. Applications will be reviewed by the MAiZE Advisory Board and winners will be announced by August 7.

Those eligible to apply include immediate family members of current MAiZE farm owners, or any farm employee who has worked on your farm for at least 3 years. Those who have applied in the past are encouraged to apply again, as long as they have not yet received the scholarship. Past winners of this scholarship are not eligible to re-apply.
Applicants must be enrolled to attend college (or other forms of higher education) this fall. Payment will be made directly to your college of choice and recipients will receive the funds over a two-year period, with half being paid out the first year and the other half being paid once proof is received of passing grades & enrollment for the second year. We appreciate all those who contributed to making so many scholarships possible this year.

A-B Emblem is our provider of scout patches again this year and are producing this exclusive custom patch for members of our MAIZE family. The order deadline is July 28, with an expected delivery date of August 21-29.

A-B Emblem requires that all orders be placed with a credit card. The cost will be 22 cents each if MAiZE orders collectively get to the 10,000 piece mark. If we go past the 15,000 piece total mark, then the price will be reduced to .21 ea. There will be a flat rate for shipping and handling of $12.00, that will be added and charged at time of order.
Patches are 1.625" with 100% embroidery hot needle cut border & an iron-on back.
