The original contract was due to expire in 2016. As chief executive officer Dr. Göke has been head of Messe Berlin since 1 July 2013.

For this reason, and in recognition of his outstanding achievements, the supervisory board and the representatives of the shareholders have agreed an early renewal of Dr. Christian Göke’s contract.“
