Update on Paul Burchall
1 March 2014

As most of you already know, Paul suffered a severe stroke on Thursday morning at home.

He is in Royal North Shore Hospital having been transferred from Mona Vale.

Our wonderful Island First Responders and neighbours took care of him whilst waiting for the Ambulance gentlemen who took him to hospital.  Thank you to everyone concerned.

He is now stable and recognizes me but is generally not able to communicate.

For this reason we are asking that you do not visit him until we let you know and then only a couple of people at a time, as he is easily overwhelmed.  I will let you know when the time is right but I don’t anticipate it being for the next week or two.

Thank you to all our kind friends who have been in touch with me sending their wishes to Paul and offering to help me in any way.  I can’t tell you how grateful and overwhelmed I’ve been with your thoughtfulness and generosity.  I have passed your wishes onto his family and they are very touched with the extent of your feelings for Paul.

Please feel free to call or text me at any time or perhaps email me, should you want an update on Paul.
