Market Summary

TSE All-Share Index

The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index closed unchanged today at 81,124. Major sectors were mixed with Ceramics & Tiles (+3.39%) the top gainer. The biggest faller was Paper Products (-0.78%), dragged down by Kaveh Paper Industries Co. (-4.89%). Chemicals (-0.17%) posted the highest trading volume, with IRR 227 billion (approx. USD 6 million) of trades. Stocks making the biggest impact on the All-Share Index were Persian Gulf Petrochemical Co. (PKLJ -0.61%), Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (KSHJ +1.45%) and Iran Chemical Industrial Investment Co. (SSIN +4.65%). The highest volume of the day was recorded by Asan Pardakht Persian Co. (APPE -2.48%) with IRR 69 billion (approx. USD 1.8 million) of trades. Total market traded value reached IRR 3,189 billon (approx. USD 85 million), up 27% from yesterday.

TSE30 Index

The TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization closed down 0.05% at 3,146. Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (KSHJ +1.45%) was the top performer on the index, while Tejarat Bank (BTEJ -1.88%) dropped the most. Total trading volume gained 17% to IRR 206 billion (approx. USD 5.5 million).
