Dear Families,
The snow has started to fall and it seems that winter is here to stay! Our students are eager to enjoy this newly fallen snow during recess. In order for students to play in the snow they need to be properly outfitted with coats, boots, snow pants, and gloves/mittens. If students do not have the necessary gear they will still be able to enjoy being outside but will need to stay on the blacktop, which is plowed. Our students are outside for nearly 30 minutes for their lunch recess so it is important that they are dressed for the weather.
Our Holiday Music Concerts will take place on December 13th at Fremont High School. The following classes will perform at these times:
-9:30: Sparks, Bourne, Orchard, Pals, Winton, Vaughn, Olsen, Vanderhoof, and Rogers
-1:00: Delia, Wills, Flock, Hudson, Boeskool, Abendroth, Hanna, Schropp, Johnston
We look forward to sharing some holiday spirit with you!
Our "Treats for Troops" campaign was a HUGE success! We were able to donate well over 800 pounds of candy to this cause. Thank you for all of your donations!
Daisy Brook Sewing Club began this week and another session will run after the holidays. Many thanks to Mrs. Matthews and volunteers for keeping this popular program going.
Our lost and found at school is overflowing! If you notice that your child is missing some items, please remind them to check the lost and found before we empty it and donate items left behind next week.
