Hello Firstname
Wednesday 21 November
This week we have Bob Bishop and Carole Bourton CPAGB from Backwell who will present their talk entitled – Life begins at 40 (how many BPS members can remember that far back?). The following might, or might not, give you some idea as to what you can expect on the night and are Bob's own words:
`Since delivering this talk at our own club at Backwell nearly a year ago now, we have received many requests from other clubs and from our own club for further similar performances.
This is something completely different from usual photographic talks and probably not quite a talk as you know it at all. It is best descibed as an evening of nostalgia and photographic imagery. To say anymore may spoil ones expectations. We can only suggest you be there, or maybe be disappointed!`

Studio Group
The next studio group meeting will be on Tuesday, December 4th and will be another location shoot. Following on from the very successful Karate club visit in the summer, we will be visiting a Judo club in Bower Ashton. To sign up please use the following link.
As usual, the event is limited to 6 photographers but sign up even if the list appears to be full as people occasionally drop out and anyone on a waiting list will get priority for the next event.

The next event is expected to be an all day session on Sunday, January 13th when members of the Corsham Sci-fi club will be visiting in full costume. It is anticipated we will split between morning and afternoon sessions to accommodate everyone who is interested. Further details will follow.

Projected Image Competition - Round 2 Results
Round 2 of the Projected Image competion was held on 14 November and judged by Graham Reeves FRPS EFIAP. There were 12 images from 4 photographers in the Intermediate section and 62 images from 21 photographers in the Advanced section. You might well have noticed that the images were a bit on the bright side: this was because, for some reason, the brightness setting on the projector had been altered. This has now been corrected, but to put minds at rest I can assure members that the images had already been judged by Graham at home and his comments on the evening reflected that "home judging" and not the images as they appeared on the night.

The results were as follows:
