Firmware and Software Notes
 
The latest version of SurvCE that we recommend  to run with the iG8 currently is Version 6.05.04.
 
As always, we strongly recommend that you not update software or firmware for no reason. If your equipment is working well, please don't go looking for trouble.
 
However, if you are running version 5, or an earlier version of 6 drop us a note and we will help you get updated. There is a $150 charge for updating from Version 5 to Version 6 of SurvCE.
 
There are newer beta versions available, we recommend that you not update to these. If you look on the SurvCE website for updates you will find 6.05 is the latest offering, we recommend that you do not use this previous version.
 
In other words: Version 6.05.04 is a golden version.
 
The current iG8 head version is 1.6.67, however if you want high rate data collector update version 1.6.35 is the best choice. [ Update Instructions ] Call us for assistance if needed.
 
The current deployable Trimble OEM Firmware Version is 5.42. [ Update Instructions ] Call us for assistance if needed.
