Why:
- 150 Irish charities gather for national conference to discuss charities regulation, funding and social need
- Results of a survey of 245 charities will be released at 9am. The survey (conducted in April) measured, among other things, if the economic recovery is having a impact on the demand for charities' services.
- This conference is being organised by The Wheel, a national network of 1,100 charities.
- Largest annual gathering of Irish charities.

11:30am-1pm: Sustaining confidence (regulation, governance & public trust)
9am-11am: The role of charites (how charities are funded, the role of charities in delivering public services).
