Dear Roedale Plot Holder,
Apple Pressing Day at Roedale Valley Saturday 1st October 11-3pm The Tea Hut at Golf Drive Entrance Roedale Allotments and Gardens Society RAGS is holding its annual 'Community Apple Pressing Day' on Saturday. So if you have an apple tree on your plot, bring down a bucket or two of apples to be pressed. Please bring suitable containers to take away some apple juice. We will be sharing the juice between those who have supplied apples, but if you dont have any apples to give then a small donation will get you a bottle of juice! We will also have a buttefly information and art stall run by Jamie Burston. A reconditioned tool stall, along with the usual jams, chutneys and marmalades. Plus a veg swap in the tea hut, so if you have a surplus of one crop, come and swap it for another.  Mark Carroll for RAGS
