Firstly, Tita ImpEx SL. Spain has moved their warehouse to the following adress:
Calle Rio Darro
Parque Mijas Local 25/4
The warehouse is located right by the car park of the Mijas Aquapark.
It will be open to the public from Monday to Friday from 10.00 AM until 3.00 PM.
It has been a while since our last newsletter. The season has started, we have expanded our product line and we´ve been part of a couple of events. In conjunction with our clients, Toko de Waag, Utrecht and Wah Nam Hong, The Hague, we were part of a couple of Tasting events, organized by these clients, where we did some cooking demonstrations. It was a great way to show people how easy and delicious Indian food is. Many thanks to Toko de Waag and Wah Nam Hong for asking us to participate in these successful events.
Also a big thank you to Mr. Singh and his wife from Little India, Calahonda for asking us to participate in the International Feria in Fuengirola which was held in May. It was a great way to introduce our spices to the Spanish community and besides that, it was a great experience to be part of such a big event. We made Mr. Singh’s (well-known chef on the coast) recipe flyer especially for this event with authentic Indian Recipes. We also supplied these flyers to the outlets that sell our spices to help them promote them. If you have not received your Recipe Flyer, then please let us know.
We are glad to introduce to you our new member of our Spanish Tita ImpEx team: Shahbaz Khalid. He will start this week to give our sales unit an extra boost. Shahbaz is very experienced, he has been in this business for almost 10 years and is very excited to be part of Tita ImpEx Spain. Welcome to the team Shahbaz!

Korma Indian Restaurant was opened in Riviera del Sol, Mijas Costa, two years ago in July 2012 and is clearly visible at the entrance to Riviera. Korma Riviera has extensive and comfortable indoor seating as well as a large terrace, both of which boast sea views. Following on from the popularity of Korma in Riviera, owners Rowie and Tony have used the same basic principles and opened a sister Korma restaurant in El Rosario in the Yellow Car building in May this year - plenty of comfortable indoor seating for the winter months but with the added bonus of an extensive, all-weather terrace. Tony is front of house, has lived in Spain for over 25 years and with his vast experience in the restaurant business, knows what the clientele enjoy. Partner, Rowie, is the general manager and has extensive experience in the catering business throughout his 16 years in Spain. The hand-picked, professional chefs from India have more than 20 years’ experience and as well as working previously in a restaurant in Puerto Banus, have also worked in Canada, US and the UK. You will find all your favourite Indian dishes available at Korma plus a good selection of vegetarian dishes, including Bhindi Bhaji (Ladies Fingers), a delicious Murgh Mango, and if you like it hot, a good Phal! Rowie told us however that the most popular dish in both restaurants was the Chicken Khurchan, made with Chicken Tikka, spring onions, tomato, coriander and special spices. Rowie’s personal favourite is a Rogan Josh curry. Asked why Korma uses Tita Spices, Rowie answered that at Korma they use all the spices in the range, because they are the very best, of course – they enhance the flavour of the dishes and they are competitively priced. Rowie attributes the success of the restaurants not only to the excellent quality and taste of the cuisine, large portions and value for money but he also told me that his clients really enjoy dining on the terrace all year round. Korma Riviera is open 7 days a week from 6-12pm and the restaurant in El Rosario is open from 5-12pm. Korma is busy all year round and is favoured by the local residents. Easy parking at both venues. We know you will enjoy your visit to Korma - enjoy! www.korma-indian-restaurant.com
