Making this Holiday Season Easier
With the holiday season just around the corner, we are excited to share a few unique ways that L.A. Works supports our corporate partners with their holiday needs. In lieu of a holiday party, consider getting the team together for a different type of celebration – a volunteer experience. L.A. Works will coordinate the “party” from start to finish to keep your whole team filled with cheer (especially the HR department who can take a break from planning!). If getting out of the office isn’t what you are looking for, L.A. Works can also help organize a “drive” for clothing, gifts, school supplies, food, etc. for your company. We custom fit every opportunity to your need, so just drop us a line and we can start planning today! MORE>>>

Enrichment workshop a huge success
A special thanks to Dale Carnegie Training LA for leading October's Understanding Diversity workshop for a group of L.A. Works volunteers and community members. Interesting Opps and Bits

Recognizing 20 for 20
2011 marks our 20th year of service to Los Angeles.  In that time, tens of thousands of volunteers have generously and passionately helped to transform our community.  To mark this special anniversary, we would like to celebrate 20 inspiring volunteers whose passion and commitment have made a positive impact on Los Angeles through their volunteer efforts.

Do you know someone that is doing remarkable things as a volunteer?  Take a moment and tell us about them and the difference they are making.  Volunteers will be selected by our Board of Directors and will be recognized at our 20th Anniversary craft Beer Garden Celebration event as well as by Mayor Villaraigosa.  Email Us
