Season's Greetings! We hope this report finds you all healthy and happy.
2023 was quite a year for The Mighty Manatees. Let's review:
A week of playing on the island of Sant Maarten...Scott "Big Daddy" Gourley Memorial Benefit...Our return to Hotel Fiesole...Ellis Woodstock #5...Canal Day...."Travelers On The Road" album release...Sellersville Theater concert....Sunday Sessions TV show....Jamming w/ Bill Haley Jr....Upper Salford Park...Cuddy Park...Franconia Park...Charlestown Park (twice)...Ed Rocks (twice)....Our return to Pete's Barn...Hanging out w/ Eric Roberts...Our return to the Rising Sun Barn...and last weekend's 2nd Annual Friendsgiving. By the end of this year we will have played over 160 shows, not counting rehearsals and recording sessions.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our families, friends, fellow musicians, and Fanatees for all their support. We simply could not do it without you. "Don't go straight, go further."
NEW YEAR'S EVE @ HOTEL FIESOLE! - We are pleased to report that we will be back at Hotel Fiesole in Skippack, PA, for New Year's Eve on Sunday, December 31. Over the years we have played many New Year's Eves at Hotel Fiesole. One of the reasons we like to play there on NYE is because they have luxurious hotel rooms upstairs for rent. Folks don't have to drive home after the festivities, they can just take an elevator upstairs for a nightcap, an after-party, or to go to bed. A few of us have already booked our rooms but there are still some available. This event is FREE to the public. Special guests. Showtime is 9:00 - 1:00 AM.
