Issue #136----November 2016
So... I'm fresh from the International Quilt Market & Festival & I had a blast getting to meet so many new customers & catching up with our longtime customers as well, but I gotta tell ya, I'm suffering a bit from "Festival Lag"...

I'm still trying to catch up from being away from this office for 2 weeks! So enjoy this month's newsletter and

Best wishes to you & your family for a wonderful Thanksgiving season!

 "Handbag of the Month" Gallery-
So last month we actually didn't run a "Handbag of the Month" contest since we didnt have a full compliment of entries!

BUT...it's a new month and the contest is back with some of the prettiest entries I've seen in some time!
We've got EIGHT fantastic entries to share with you, so scroll down to check 'em out then click HERE to cast a vote for your favorite.

Annette Macher told me that she's had this elephant fabric for quite sometime now and didn't know at the time what she would make with it, but it sure looks fabulous on this Triple Play!

And this scrumptious Walkabout Wallet is a cool & interesting combination of fabrics. Melissa Koehn did a really great job combining the tweedy-like contrast with bold & graphic print! Click here to see the bag front!

Cathi Page of Colorado Springs, CO used reproduction fabric from the 1800's to create this unique look for her Quattro. Cathi says that now that she's retired she'll be doing a LOT more sewing!

And Carmen Selzer is back with a colorful version of our Carolina CarryAll. She said she whipped this beauty up in an afternoon and has enjoyed the compliments she gets wherever she goes!

And isn't Deborah Rayman's Wrapsody bag impressive? There's something about the fabrications she chose that looks totally lush and classy!

This Triple Play was created by Cindy Keiser of Arlington, NE to be used by her daughter as a diaper bag. She combined these Waverly prints with a "piped" vinyl lower for really classic look. Here's a peek at the inside.

And here we have the very 1st Everyday Attache to be entered into our HOM contest! Pat Bollman posted these pictures on our FaceBook page & got such a nice reaction that she then sent the pictures in for our contest! Check out the inside HERE!

And finally, here's a totally unique take on our Wrapsody bag! I love the brave combination of fabrics chosen by Josee Carrier of Montreal, Canada. Here's a peek at the INSIDE & Josee wrote a nice review of this pattern and some matching accessories and you might enjoy reading it here!

26 years ago this tabby cat chose his humans in their backyard. Now at the age of 31, he is still going strong.
Meet Nutmeg the cat.
This super senior cat has one deaf ear and three teeth left, but he has the heart of a lion. He bounced back from a serious illness last year.
Nutmeg may have lost one of his nine lives, but this old man is not ready to kick the bucket yet.
