The Summer That Flew By: Recaps, Recounts & Things to Come

Welcome to the August Newsletter. This summer has really been a blur. It's hard to believe that most Universities pick back up in only a few weeks! For me this Summer has been very memorable (even though I'm having a hard time keeping track of what day it is). Here's a bit of catching you up...

ALBUM STUFF!

First, I want to say thanks again to every person who donated to the Kickstarter. You'll be hearing from me within the next week so I can start fulfilling your rewards!

Want to sing on the album? This Friday we'll be recording gang vocals for a song on the album. Gang vocals? They're basically a bunch of people singing in unison - similar to what you would do a at live show when your favorite band asks the audience to join in on the chorus with them. So if you feel like spending some time in my basement this Friday, just respond to this email or RSVP here: details.

ECUADOR!
Two weeks ago I returned from a missions trip in Ecuador. What can I say except that my heart is still there. I've written a few blogs about the individuals we met, the work we did, and the villages we visited. I feel even more challenged to live, be, and share Jesus with people and have spent alot of time thinking about the comforts we have here in the states that make us worship the created instead of the creator. Here are some thoughts.

FALL TOURING!

Having been in the studio and out of town most of this summer, there hasn't been much touring. But this fall I'll be doing a September tour with Angela Sheik (midwest) and an October tour with my good friend Amanda Lee (northeast)...so please stay tuned for dates in Chicago, Indianapolis, Michigan, Lancaster, NYC, DC, Baltimore, and more! We're are still working to fill midwest holes, so please let us know if you'd like to host a house show or event. Thanks kindly!
